This study examines the influence of fiber treatment on the thermal behavior of biomass/palm-fiber reinforced polylactic acid (PLA) hybrid biocomposites. By modifying the surface of natural fibers, researchers achieved enhanced interfacial adhesion with the PLA matrix, leading to improved thermal stability and overall composite performance. The treated fibers reduced moisture absorption and thermal degradation, resulting in biocomposites better suited for structural and packaging applications. This approach supports the development of eco-friendly, biodegradable materials with optimized properties, making them a strong alternative to conventional plastics in sustainable product design.
